Corporate wellness has been on the rise for the last ten years. It has become an essential branch for any business who wants to relay care to employees beyond a paycheck.
Research shows that employees are more likely to reflect positively on their employer and look favorably at a longer career with the company because of wellness benefits. Not to mention, healthier employees incur lower health care costs.
That's where I come in.
I offer 60-minute yoga and 30-minute meditation sessions.
Here are a few reasons to consider offering these practices to your staff.
Both modalities are approachable and achievable for all body types.
You can have an amazing experience in the comfort of your own home (via Zoom) or office.
The way people feel after a session is priceless.
They'll thank you for it.
If you're interested in offering sessions to your employees, contact me. I'll start with a brief survey so I can better understand your company culture and scheduling needs.
Why is meditation important?
The practice appears to have an amazing variety of neurological benefits – from changes in grey matter volume to reduced activity in the “me” centers of the brain to enhanced connectivity between brain regions.
Yoga is known to lower blood pressure, have a positive impact on body image, strengthen the cardiovascular system, create more pliancy in muscles and more mobility in joint spaces, and it improves connectivity in the nervous system.
It does more than that and really, it must be experienced to understand its true magic.
